ADAGIO DE L’AURORE 86606 (FRA)
Welsh Pony section B stallion – grey / gris – 2010 – 133cm
by Heniarth Wood-Wind out of Etincelle Ravignan by Kirby Cane Statecraft

A multi-awarded show champion across Great Britain and Europe, Adagio de l’Aurore has become one of the most successful Welsh ponies of recent decades.

Reserve Supreme Champion at the French National Welsh Show, twice 2nd in the stallion class at the Royal Welsh, finalist in the 6-year-old CCJPS, 1st and Reserve Champion at the Dutch Stallion National in Ermelo, and champion under saddle abroad — Adagio has consistently demonstrated brilliance and versatility.

Only aged 4 he was one of the section B finalists under saddle in the prestigious Horse of the Year Show.

Sired by Heniarth Wood-Wind, himself a Royal Welsh Champion and son of the remarkable Eyarth Windflower, Adagio carries the finest Welsh bloodlines, valued both for performance and beauty. His dam, Etincelle Ravignan, by Kirby Cane Statecraft, passes on elegance, power, and balance — her offspring excel equally in sport and in-hand showing.

Adagio’s progeny are now winning in the show rings and sport arenas worldwide, and several have been successfully exported across Europe and beyond.

After travelling throughout Europe and standing three seasons at the prestigious Eyarth Stud in Wales, Adagio has retired from public stud duties to focus on our homebreeding programme.
